About
Marcos de Bernard de la Fosse
Twenty years redesigning processes — BPM, ECM, enterprise reengineering — now consulting for professional services firms, and designing the solutions that take the mechanical work off a team.
The short version

Most people working on this either know AI and not your process, or know your process and not AI.
I spent two decades on business process reengineering before any of this was called AI, which means I will ask what your process actually does before proposing to automate it.
I also run two remote companies on the systems I build, so you are not the test case.

The arc
2013 – 2016
Cardinal Paperless Experts · Buenos Aires
Enterprise accounts on ECM and BPM paperless transformation. Led business process reengineering: mapping document-heavy workflows and replacing them with technology. This is where the process work started, a decade before AI made it cheap.
2016 – 2020
MBF Consulting · LATAM
B2B consulting and business process modeling for service companies and startups. Forecasting, account mapping and structured methodology drawn from enterprise practice.
2020 – present
Wanderlust Solvers · Miami
Built and operate a fully distributed advisory firm. Designed the internal document and compliance workflows the firm runs on — the same process discipline later applied to client automation work.
2024 – present
Markit Ventures · Miami
Business consulting for professional services firms and SMBs across the US and Latin America: process diagnosis, redesign, and the solution built around it — from the audit through documentation and team handover.
After the diagnosis, we build the solution that fits.
Not the most impressive one, and not whatever is in fashion that month: the one your stack supports, your budget sustains and your team can keep running once I am gone. The diagnosis is mine; for the build I bring in solution architects, so the project never depends on one person’s calendar.
What decides it
- The tools you already pay for, before adding anything new
- What the budget sustains month after month, not just at launch
- What your team can operate and fix without calling me
- What the process actually needs — sometimes a rule beats a model
